Two new awards for Vucko (Wolfy)!

This week my film Vucko (Wolfy) had two screenings in two festivals. In 28th Munich International Festival of Film Schools and in 19th Ljubljana international film festival

I have recived PRIX INTERCULTUREL award for best film at 28th Munich International Festival of Film Schools

The jury wrote:

"The Interfilm-Akademie jury was impressed by the originality and humor of the screenplay, the director of photography’s lighting and composition, and its director’s skill in giving his cast, especially lead actor Evgen Car, enough space to allow their characters to unfold. The film encourages audiences not to succumb to loneliness and alienation but to be open-minded about people who are different and to embrace being tolerant."

This is the second time in a row that I have received an award in Munich. Last year I have received LUGGI WALDLEITNER AWARD for best screenplay for my film Almost six feet too deep

Also this weekend I have received "special mention" award at a 19th Ljubljana International Film Festival

Luggi Waldleitner Award in Munchen

I've recevied an Luggi Waldleitner Award at Internationales Festival der Filmhochschulen München for my short film Almost six feet too deep. President of the jury was Michael Ballhaus

The jury wrote about my film:

"We are in the middle of the microcosm of a small Slovenian village west of Ljubljana: The events that are bound to happen here are so cleverly written, so wittily constructed and so originally funny, that we as a jury felt highly entertained in the most extraordinary way for the whole 19 minutes. The film deals with life’s most profound subjects: It’s about death; it’s about hate; it’s about envy, and it’s about oppression – but in this wonderfully life-affirming screenplay it’s all handled with some very nice tricks and twists."

After the ceremony there was great party!
